Anyway, this is one of those WHO discussions that will go absolutely nowhere.
He said that the black race is superior and that black people should spend their money in black shops.
Some of you don’t have a problem with that (although let’s face it you would if it was a white bloke saying it about white people), fair enough. If you can’t wrap your head around why others might have a different opinion about it then so be it.

Here’s the difference. Saying ‘shop locally’ suggest supporting your local economy and lowering your CO2 emissions. Saying, ‘shop locally but avoid the Indian off license because they’re not white’ is a bit cunty.

As it stands he is probably our third greatest heavyweight, that’s it though. He isn’t Admiral Nelson or Isaac Newton.
You’re entitled to like him for his boxing achievements and personality, I used to be firmly in that camp too. On the other hand, I’m entitled to not support someone who wants to race bait, and divide the country I live in based on ethnicity.

Ali grew up in the South at a time when people who looked like him were hung from trees, made to drink from separate fountains, denied the vote, sent to separate schools, and lots of other bad things. I think he gets a bit of leeway and may have had a point if he was talking about the white people he grew up around.

AJ has won multiple gold medals for our country. He currently holds 4 belts in one of the toughest sports in the world in the name of Britannia. When people think of Heavyweight Boxing, partly cos of him, they think of our little island.
What has anyone slagging him off done? Unless serving in the forces probably fuck all.
Oh he got caught up in the BLM crap over summer and said something stupid... who cares. If you hold that against a man who's gonna go down in history as one of the country's greatest that's up to you.
